Chevron Lubricants issues new case study highlighting performance of Delo® products used by Marchini Ag

Chevron Products Company, a Chevron U.S.A. Inc. division, maker of the Delo® brand of technologically advanced engine oils, lubricants and coolants, today released a new case study highlighting the performance of Delo heavy-duty diesel engine oil, Delo Extended Life Coolant (ELC) and Chevron THF 1000 at Marchini Ag farms in California’s Central Valley.

Marchini Ag relies on many tractors to plow the company’s fields. Among those tractors is a 300 brake horsepower (bhp) John Deere 8520T that has been in operation for over nine years, accumulating more than 10,000 hours of service. After a teardown of the tractor, Marchini Ag found the engine components and valve train system in perfect condition with minimal wear. The water pump and cylinder liners remained without any cavitation, demonstrating the excellent heat transfer and protection the Delo ELC provided the engine over its nine years of service.

Chevron will highlight the Marchini Ag case study at its 2013 World Ag Expo (February 12 -14) booth (#O40) in Tulare, CA. Videos and parts from the tear down will be on hand for attendees to see how Delo lubricants enhanced engine performance for the Stockton California-based company.
